HELD THE 2nd MEETING OF THE CONASQ WORKING GROUP

On February 26, the 2?? Working Meeting was held to discuss the Strategy and the Brazilian Action Plan to Address Lead Contamination.

During the meeting, progress in the Plan’s strategic pillars was presented and discussed, with emphasis on the areas of Training, Communication and Social Mobilization, and Science, Technology and Innovation, reinforcing the commitment to the progressive reduction of lead exposure, institutional strengthening, and the development of technical and sustainable solutions.

The actions remain underway and new initiatives are being structured. The next meeting of the group is scheduled for March 19, 2026, when discussions will continue toward consolidating the next steps.
