SRI LANKA TO HOST 10TH INTERNATIONAL SECONDARY LEAD CONFERENCE AND LEARNING LEAD COURSE 2026
Global leaders, recyclers, manufacturers, traders, and technical experts from across the lead industry will gather in Colombo from 25 through 28 of October for the 10th International Secondary Lead Conference (10ISLC) together with the Lead Training Academy’s Learning Lead Course 2026.
Hosted at the prestigious Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, Colombo, the event marks the 10th anniversary of the International Secondary Lead Conference, the only global conference dedicated exclusively to the secondary lead and lead recycling industry.
The conference will bring together stakeholders from around the world to discuss market developments, sustainability initiatives, technological advancements, health and safety practices, and the future of lead recycling within the circular economy.
Secondary lead production currently supplies more than 70 percent of the world’s lead demand, making the industry essential to energy storage, automotive manufacturing, telecommunications, and renewable energy infrastructure.
The conference will highlight the industry’s critical role in sustainable resource recovery and responsible recycling practices.
